Each of the three sections has its own title leaf and includes detailed drawings and figures, some in color. "The first section explains Virchow's general pathology; the second part contains notes on lectures about special pathology and anatomy; the third section treats diseased blood vessels. At the end of the nineteenth century, Virchow gave a series of lectures entitled 'General Pathology and Therapy' and 'general Pathological Anatony.' The manuscript appears to be notes taken by a student who attended those lectures, given when Virchow was chair of Pathological Anatomy at the Friedrich-Wilhelms University. ...
