In 1883 she married Joseph Marion Tanner (1859-1927) and they eventually became the parents of ten children. One of her children was Obert C. Tanner who became an influential businessman in Salt Lake City. Annie Clark Tanner had a difficult marriage to Joseph Tanner and they eventually separated. She later settled in California. Descendants live in Utah, California and other parts of the United States.
