A group of companies asked the National Energy Board (NEB) to approve their proposal to develop three natural gas fields in and near the Mackenzie Delta. They would also build pipelines to ship the natural gas and natural gas liquids south to markets. Together these three proposals are called the Mackenzie Gas Project.
