Book Description
The King James AV 1611 Holy Bible is God breathed, inerrant, supernatural, perfect, and superior to any other piece of literature ever written. There is not another book like it in the world! God has given us his word and words in the English which is the last universal world language just before the Second Coming of the great God and Savior Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has reemphasized this truth in my heart and mind countless times since being born again in April 1972. It is "The Scripture" and all other "per-versions" are Satan's attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of lazy sheep who will not "Study to shew themselves approved unto God..." (2Tim 2:15) nor will they "Search the scripture..." (John 5:39) but they have willfully fallen victim to the little g "god" of this world, Satan, who blinds the eyes of anyone he can, always bringing doubt and questions in the mind of people concerning the truthfulness and integrity of the word and words of God. Gen. 3:1 "Yea, hath God said...?" #6 Esther, The Queen, a type of the preserved Jewish remnant (Rev.11:13, 12:17.) who escapes the Anti-Christ (Haman) and is instrumental in preserving the lives of the Jewish people during what the Bible calls the time of Jacob's trouble (13 letters) (Jer.30:7) the great tribulation period (Mat.24:21,29 Rev.7:14) after the tribulation she becomes the bride of Jehovah God in the Millennium (Hos:2:14-23) and gains head of the nations status. Esther was protected by the King (God) and delivered from the total annihilation (during the tribulation) along with all the Jews. Esther was crowned in the seventh year of the King giving her a reign during the last seven years of the time frame that the book covers which is identical to the seven-year tribulation that she depicts. If our calendar were right, we would have just entered into the 7,000th year (7th day) of human history where the Tribulation and Second Advent of the Lord Jesus is to take place, but our calendar has been messed with in history by the Vatican so we do not know the exact year in which we live. But notice that the crowning of Esther AND the appearance of Haman (3:1) a type of the Antichrist takes place AFTER Vashti the Queen (type of the Church) is removed, raptured, from the scene. Esther's name appears 56 times in the book. She is given seven maidens (Gentile friends during the tribulation period) to assist her in the purification process.KEVIN MANN A Saved King James Bible Believing Baptist.

Esther
Author: Charles R. Swindoll
Publisher: Thomas Nelson
ISBN: 1418515469
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 222
Book Description
Everyone loves a transformation story. Rags to riches. Plain to beautiful. Weak to strong. Esther's story is that, but it is much more. It is a thought-provoking study of God's invisible hand writing silently and unseen across the pages of human history. Perhaps most of all, Esther's story is the account of godly attributes like courage, dignity, wisdom, and strength?attributes that blocked an evil plot, overthrew an arrogant killer, and replaced terror with joy in thousands of Jewish homes. Author Chuck Swindoll interweaves the ancient, real-life story with insight not only into the virtues of Queen Esther, but also into how the qualities that formed and empowered her can be ours. Esther is the second volume of Charles Swindoll's best-selling series, which examines great lives from God's Word and reveals the strengths and weaknesses that make God's men and women both great . . . and human. Many of the most beloved biblical heroes were ordinary folks. Shepherds. Fishermen. Servants. Widows. Even harlots and petty thieves. One by one, they changed the course of history. Swindoll explains that these men and women did not become great in their own strength but were empowered by God when they surrendered their lives to Him. To live such a life that God considers great is within the reach of everyone who submits to Him.

Megillat Esther
Author: J.T. Waldman
Publisher: Jewish Publication Society
ISBN: 0827610084
Category : Juvenile Nonfiction
Languages : en
Pages : 191
Book Description
Megillat Esther is commonly referred to as the Book of Esther: but there is nothing common about JT Waldman's interpretation of this Biblical story. In what may be the world's first religious, scholarly comic book, Waldman tells the epic tale of exile and redemption in graphic form. When Esther, a Jewish woman, is made Queen of Persia she must keep her identity hidden, all the while maneuvering to save her people from annihilation. This is a story familiar to many Jews who have heard it recounted every year on the holiday of Purim. But readers of all backgrounds will be entranced by what artist Waldman depicts in his interpretation of the text. At once traditional and groundbreaking Megillat Esther will challenge secular assumptions about the Bible. Each page of Megillat Esther is a visual tour de force and features the Hebrew text with original English translation, as well as opulent drawings depicting the story of the Persian Queen. Traditional interpretations of the story are woven throughout the panels. Megillat Esther presents the reader with a topsy-turvey world in which fortunes reverse and nothing is what it seems. This vibrant, edgy retelling of a classic Biblical tale is sure to amaze and intrigue scholars and laypeople of all religions and comic book lovers alike.

Esther and Her Elusive God
Author: John Anthony Dunne
Publisher: Wipf and Stock Publishers
ISBN: 1620327848
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 171
Book Description
What if the way the book of Esther has been taught to us in church and retold to us in films, cartoons, and romance novels has missed the original point of the story? Far from being models of piety and devotion, Esther and Mordecai seem indifferent to the faith of their ancestors. How then did this story become part of the Bible and gain the broad acceptance that it has? If the church should not neglect the story, how should it be read? Esther and Her Elusive God calls Christians to avoid the common attempts to make Esther more palatable and theological, and to reclaim this secular story as Scripture. Readers will be encouraged to see in Esther a profound message of God's grace and faithfulness to his wayward people.
